050 – Mane ‘n Tail Shampoos & Conditioners

I received a campaign invitation from Sample Store a couple of months back to try out the Mane ‘n Tail hair products. Honestly speaking, I was a little skeptical about using it when I read that they first started out by being a horse shampoo. But I read on and found many raving testimonials on the products that there was no reason why I should not give it a try!

The Mane ‘n Tail shampoo formula contains high lathering and ultra-cleansing agents that are fortified with moisturizers and emollients to help leave hair soft and ultra clean. The conditioner helps to nourish and aid healthy hair growth, leaving hair looking lustrous and silky these micro-enriched protein formulas help to prevent hair breakages and repair split ends, achieving the goal of longer, stronger and fuller hair!

There is a total of 5 formulas of Mane ‘n Tails which you can find in Singapore. You can find all 5 of them (Original, Herbal-Gro, Deep Moisturizing, Gentle Clarifying & Replenishing and Anti-Dandruff) at their E-store; Maimee’s Corner. Whereas at physical retails stores, only these 4 formulas - Original, Herbal-Gro, Deep Moisturizing, Gentle Clarifying & Replenishing are available.

Out of these 5 formulas, they have generously given me 3 formulas; Original, Herbal-Gro and Deep Moisturizing to try! :)

Original formula is the formula that started it all. The popular formula contains emollients providing body, shine and manageability for healthy-looking hair every time you shampoo.

Herbal-Gro formula is the complete hair care system that is formulated with natural herbs blended with an olive oil complex to nourish, strengthen, and fortify hair from root to tip.

Deep Moisturizing formula is micro-enriched with deep hydrating botanicals and naturally locks in moisture while fortifying your hair with Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin B.

I have tried all 6 bottles of shampoos and conditioners and here are my favourites!

Shampoo: Herbal-Gro – I have selected the Herbal-Gro formulated shampoo because it not only strengthens the hair (which I need it very much due to the length of my hair, so that it does not break so easily), my scalp feels ULTRA squeaky clean after washing! Even though the scalp feels so clean, you’ll be surprised to know that the hair does not feel dry at all. You just have to try it to know!

Conditioner: Deep Moisturizing – It is not difficult to know why I chose this as the most suitable conditioner for my hair. My current hair length is waist-long and the ends are so much drier than the roots. So Deep Moisturizing formula is the best bet! Who says you’ve got to use the same range for shampoo and conditioner right?

Leave-in Treatment: Original Conditioner - Yes, you’ve read it right. I am using the Original formula conditioner as a leave-in treatment, coz I can! This formulated bottle is the most special of them all because it not only works as a conditioner, it works as a texturizer too! And what’s more amazing is that it’s not just suitable for human hair, it’s good for animal’s hair too!

Directions for use: Just use the right amount of shampoo for your hair length, lather, rinse and apply conditioner.

*TIP: If you have short hair, use only a small amount of shampoo, about the size of a 10 cents coin. If you have average length hair, use 50 cents coin size as a gauge and two 20 cents coin size if your hair length is way past your shoulders.

Mane ‘n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner is suitable for everybody as they cater different formulas to different hair types.
